Halloween in New York

For those who may be in New York on Halloween - there are two very special evenst:

Halloween Parade is back - wonderful and wacky - will take place in the Village starting at 7 pm. Some costumes may be "adult" and there are many groups that march together in themed costumes (it was cancelled last year because of Sandy)

American Museum of Natural History - will be open Halloween night with many special interactive activities for kids (check the web site for details) including a Halloween sleepover and trick or treating throughout the museum

St. John the Divine offers the "Procession of the Ghouls" every year. Check their website for date and time. It is fantastic.

The Greenwich Village Halloween Parade was some of the best fun I''ve had on Halloween, and I've had a lot of fun on Halloween. We dressed in costume and traveled back and forth with the parade.
