Halloween in New Orleans

Just how crazy is Halloween in New Orleans?? Would this be an experience for a senior couple or too creepy and over the top.

Thanks,

Lucci

Depends on the senior couple! Bourbon Steet was a bit wild - lots of costumed and intoxicated revellers, shoulder to shoulder at times, but everywhere else was quite fine - kind of a pleasant creepy feeling!

I would think this would be a perfect night to take a ghost tour...we've taken the one that starts at the voodoo shop and have enjoyed it each time.

Lahaina. How about Maui? The weather is predictable and there's a G rated parade in good fun.

This I have done.

Well, here I go to NOLA on Halloween. At first, I must admit I was concerned..I'm not a big Anne Rice fan but it sure will be an experience I won't forget. I feel that NOLA can use any support that she can get.

Now to the foodies. Are all restaurants upand running? Any suggestions?

Can't wait to hear.
