Hallimaile General Store - Maui

Has anyone out there been to this restaurant? We're thinking of trying it but have heard it's quite pricy. Is it worth the money?

on my last trip, we got off the plane, headed for Hallimaile for their tuna/salmon napolean and crab dip thing...on our way to the airport we returned for 2 napoloean apps...yummmmmmmmmmm

I really enjoyed it, but did not think the prices were too over the top for the quality you get. See for yourself:

We have never been to Maui without eating at the Hallimaile General Store-it is well worth making the 'effort
to eat there!!

Yes, it is worth the money. I did not think it was that expensive. Not going while on Maui would be naughty.

This was my favorite restaurant on Maui, although we only had lunch there. I did not feel it was overpriced. It is casual and the food was wonderful. I am definitely planning a return visit this February.
