Halfway point for family reunion

I'm trying to find a fun midway point between Chattanooga, TN & Chicago, IL for a reunion in June & I'm coming up with Shawnee National Forest area. Any recommendations or other area suggestions are welcome. I would love to find a resort to fit us all, but it could potentially be 100-125 people (including lots of kids). I'm hoping to find a relaxing place with swimming, play area, sight-seeing, etc. TIA

Check out Peek'n Peak resort in Clymer, NY... set up for Family events and about an equal drive for all...

How about one of the state parks around Lake Barkley or Kentucky Lake?

Look at French Lick Resort in Indiana. Seems just about perfect for you.
Also look at Mammoth Caves National Park. There is so much to do there, with lodges and restaurants. It is beautiful.

Gary, I want us to drive towards eachother & meet halfway. I think NY is too far for both, but I'll keep it for future travels. Thanks!

Thanks! I'll check it out. My husband also mentioned Lake Barkley. He's been there for golfing.

Thank you! I'll check both out. My husband said he used to go to Mammoth Caves as a kid.
