The best deal we found was with UpCountry Cycles and "Insane Wayne" (our little nickname for the guy who owns the company and drives you up to the top and has smoked too much weed over the years). It was a bit bizarre, but still fun. <BR>You have to drive yourself to his shop at about 3:00 a.m., he takes you and the bikes to the top for the sunrise, then drives you down to the point where you can ride yourself. This is the only way to ride at your own pace. The other tours that start at the top require you to ride with the group, at the slowest person's pace. We rode down and then all the way to the winery (a fabulous ride, with just about a mile of a little uphill), stopping at a little shack for a great breakfast along the way. Then Insane Wayne picked us up at the winery. I'm sorry but I don't remember the cost, I just remember that it was the cheapest route.
