Guidebooks for Maui & Kauai?

Hi,

Any recommendations for a good guidebook to bring along for Maui? We heard that the "Ultimate Guide to Kauai" (or something like that) was good, but haven't seen any recommendations for a Maui book. Thanks.

Hi JC,
I've three guidebooks on Maui and the one that I found to be the most helpful is the 8th edition of Paradise Family Guides"Maui and Lana'i"by Dona Early & Christie Stilson, published by Prima Publishing.I purchased it at a Borders book store and should be available at most chain book stores.

Aloha,
I bought the "The Kauai Underground Guide" and "The Ultimate Kaua'i Guidebook". So far I prefer the later, but when we return in two weeks I will let you know whick one was the most useful.

My husband & I were in Maui in September
and we had THE BEST book I could have purchased. It was "Driving & Discovering Maui and Molokini". It was great.
