GTG in Old Town Sacramento
 

My wife and I will be at the River City Saloon sometime ater 8:20PM Friday night. I did post on the lounge but janisj suggested that I post here so more people would see the post.
Our train north to Oregon leaves Sacramento about midnight.

We're going to take the rental car back to Enterprise in about an hour. Enterprise will drop us off at the spot where we get the Amtrak bus to Bakersfield. We transfer to the San Joaquin train to Stockton. We have about an hour bus ride from Stockton to Sacramento arriving shortly after 8PM tonight.
We check our bags through to Klmath Falls.
It's about a 6 minute walk from the Amtrak station to the River City Saloon
I'v walked by it several times but never went in. It should be a good place to hang out for a couple hours before heading back to board the Coast Starlight.
My distant cousin Caitlin may join us if she can find a babysitter. I hope to meet at least Fodorite tonight.
