Hey GoTravel, that was a bit over the top. Asking if the platform is still there, when it was on their last trip, isn't an unfair question.

I never wrote it was an unfair question. I just find it hard to believe that cms didn't know the platforms were down.

Hard as it may be to believe, the rest of the world doesn't pour over the latest news from NYC. I read the paper daily (no NOT the NY Times, but I do see their headlines daily on the internet). I watch national news almost nightly. I have seen nothing about the platforms coming down. If I asked you about an event that happened in Minnesota, or one that happened in Iowa, either of which made the national news both papers and TV, are you sure you'd know about it or remember it?

Being Canadian I would be very curious to know how much GoTravel knows about Canada period. I am sure I know worlds more about NYC than she does of Canada, but not I would not be so rude as to imply she were joking if she asked a question relating to a Canadian destination.

If someone asks a question about a Canadian destination and I reply with an answer like "this is a joke, right?" I would have a strip torn off me too, deservedly so.
