Ground travel between Brooklyn & Boston
We'll be traveling between Brooklyn & Boston on Thurs. Oct 5th. I don't know whether there is an advantage for bus or train Thanks for any input.
Take AMTRAK but do not pay extra for Acela. Only half the trip can be made at the faster rate.
There are things like Megabuses, which are cheaper. Learn where they pick you up and drop you off. |
Sorry. I did not complete the answer. I do not know of any bus which goes directly from Boston to Brooklyn. Additionally, Brooklyn is a very large borough. Where are going in Brooklyn?
No, the OP is leaving Brooklyn, IMDonehere. Brooklyn is so last year. The action is in Brookline.
Hipster Brookline?
The AMTRAK ride is scenic, along th Connecticut shore for much of the trip. Once you get to Boston's South Station, you can easily transfer to the T "Red Line" to take you wherever you are going in Boston, chamging lines as necessary.

Thanks for the input, just what I needed. I just picked Brooklyn because we wanted something different than downtown New York--we've never been there (we're from Idaho) so looking forward to seeing everything we can.
I have never been to Idaho, but I assume logic and clarity are two traits that are usually appreciated.
