Kelkie,

I suggest you repost your question with a title that is more specific, such as "Grocery stores in Waikiki". The title of simply "Grocery stores" isn't going to get a lot of replies because folks aren't sure where you're going with your question.

I looked at it out of simple curiosity, something I normally wouldn't do. I usually would have passed up the posting.

Have fun and enjoy your trip!
Regards,
Tim

There is a grocery store within a mile of the Ohana Keahou Beach Resort, in the Keahou Shopping Center.

Most grocery stores in Hawaii give big discounts (50%) on food if you have their membership card. There is no fee; just ask the checker where to get a card when you first go in the door. Sometimes they have a table set up, sometimes the checker does it for you.

Foodland is a good supermarket. Also, the ABC stores (like 7 Eleven) have lots of supplies, though it costs more there for the convenience.

Long's Drugstores carry some food items and they have many weekly specials.
