Grocery Store locations in San Diego??
 

We will be arriving into San Diego airport and staying our first few nights at the Hanalei Hotel. We need to find a grocery store that would be fairly easy access between the airport and hotel. Want to pick up bottled water, a small disposable cooler and snacks. Any recommendations?? Several comments I have read on tripadvisor of people trying to find grocery stores near hotel circle with no luck. Thanks!

Yes, we usually go to that Ralphs. Very nice store. The hotel also has a small gift shop that sells water. Of course the floors have drink machines. Across from hotel circle is a small package store that sells beer, wine, and maybe a few other sundries for a quick run. Some of the rooms at the Hanalei (upper floors) have small friges and micro waves, so you might want to request one of those if you can. Or even call ahead and request. We love the Hanalei and stay there often. Very convenient to all activities and good sized rooms. Enjoy your stay...

You can go to the Ralph's at Mission Center road and also Costco is right down the street with a gas station too on Friars road..
In the Ikea shopping center...

I've heard about tinyurl.com but I always figured people would prefer to know where they are going beforehand. Tinyurl is just another version of "click here."

(But, of course, your opinion might be different.)

By the way, the yahoo link I posted above has Ralph's at 1.6 miles from the hotel, further than both 7-11 and Albertsons.
