grocery store lift tickets
Hi
Where's the western most Safeway or King Sooper on the way to Keystone? I've heard this is the place to get lift tickets. thanks amy |
Hi Amy, an easy stop on the way is the Youngfield Exit on the west end of Denver Suburbs off Hwy 70. Take a left off the freeway, left again to the King Soopers. Also at that exit is Applejacks liqour store, with perhaps the best wine selection in the state. ( applejacks does not take credit cards but will take out of state checks)

There's one in Silverthorne/Dillon on the north side of the interstate.
|
Wait, that would be south side, if you are going west. Sorry.
|
thanks a ton!
Another question.. Should we take the Southern toll road bypass or just go through the city if we get in around 8:30 a.m. on a Tues? The bypass sure looks a long way around the city |
Gretchen... Can you buy all the resort passes at City Market with the same discount... I've been told you can not - but haven't confirmed this.
peykoff... I assume you are arriving at the airport? In that case - just take I70 west - don't take the bypass. |
I am sorry I am new at this, i just found this site how cool! I can't get a new "topic" started, could anyone help me with two things....
This weekend I am going to Friscoe CO. I can only go boarding on Sunday 1/25 and I have to choose between Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, and A-Basin...which one would you recommend? I am a beginning boarder just started early this year... I am meeting up with some people there for a full week on a package deal but i need to find a discounted one day lift rate to one of the location this is my first time to CO, help! |
I'd probably recommend Breck or Keystone... A-basin is certainly not for beginners. Vail can be - I guess it matters where you are staying (in Frisco?), etc. whether or not I would bother to go to Vail as a beginner (and they have the most expenive lift tickets in the US). From Frisco another great choice would be Copper.
