Groceries

We are going to Joshua Tree National Park in spring, via the Palm Springs airport. Should we buy groceries in Palm Springs or in the Joshua Tree/29 Palms area? Thanks, Valerie

There are several supermarkets in Yucca Valley, including Vons and Slater bros, and at least one in 29 Palms - Slater.

There is a Stater Brothers in Twenty Nine Palms on Hwy 62 (29 Palms hwy) very near the park.

Google Palm Springs Groceries. There are about a half dozen. If you have a Club Card or whatever, you may be able to use it. For example Vons and Safeway are affiliated, and I see that there are Safeways in N. Carolina.
