Greenwich Village pub tour
 

On our trip last weekend, my daughter and I took the Greenwich Village Literary Pub Crawl, a four-hour walking tour of some of the best-known and best-hidden pubs in the Village. Each of the four we visited were 'haunts' of well-known writers as well as being interesting in their own right. We've done this in other cities (London & Dublin) and find that it's a great way to explore a neighborhood and learn something about the literary figures who lived and worked in the area. This particular tour is led by two actors from New Ensemble Theatre Company; the tour takes place every Saturday (year-round, rain, sun or snow!) at 2 p.m.; cost is $15 adults, $12 students/seniors. A fun afternoon if you're looking for something different in the city.

Nice try Harriett, but you gave yourself away as an advertiser when you posted your response to "Statia" (who is obviously you) within 1 minute of Statia's post.<BR><BR>I give you points for creativity for "accidentally" saying the tour was 4 hours, but this is still an advertisement.

Just for the record, "I" am Statia and post on this message board quite often. You can do a search on my name and find that I am not an advertiser.....or Harriett for that matter.<BR><BR>Since I use the same screen name ALWAYS, I just don't want there being any confusion.<BR>

If I was advertising, which I'm obviously not, I wouldn't have used my real name and mailing address. <BR><BR>Would it be okay if I reply to the person who just posted the inquiry about the 'Sex and the City' tour, since it's booked by the same company I used (I-Mar) to book the pub tour? If not, don't bother to read the info -- wouldn't want to offend anyone! And does this mean that no one can recommend a restaurant they've enjoyed without it being construed as advertising?
