Great restaurants in Las Vegas
 

I will be travelling to Las Vegas in early April and would like some recommendations for some great restaurants. We eat any type of food and are open to any price range. <BR>Thanks!!

Try the Palm. I believe it's in Caesar's forum court - anyway it's just outside Caesar's. It's the same Palm as Santa Monica and Chicago - great steaks, and quiet atmosphere. You'll forget for a moment you're in Vegas.

Cristina, IMO the best in Las Vegas is Smith and Wollensky's. It right across from the Monte CArlo. My wife and I went 2 times in one week. It is built to look like their original restaurant in NYC on 3rd ave. <BR>Can't beat the Cracklin Pork Shank. <BR> <BR>Bart

Picasso at the Bellagio was rated the #1 restaurant in the USA by a national newspaper this summer past. Beautiful setting, great service, very pricey. Eat surrounded by actual Picasso paintings...(and help pay for them with your credit card). Andre's, Michael's and Portofino are the highest rated restaurants in the Zagat survey (printed before Bellagio opened)

Here are a few places that my wife and I tried: 1) Emeril's New Orleans Fish House - the food and service were excellent, however, you pay for it. 2) Caesar's Magical Empire - basically dinner and a show. A very unique dinner experience that was a lot of fun. Food was decent and I believe it was roughly $75 per person. 3) Buccaneer Bay Club at Treasure Island - the restaurant overlooks the water and you get a birds eye view of the ship/fight performance. Food was pretty good but not inexpensive by any means. Somewhat of a different dining experience and would recommend reservations.

Hi - <BR> <BR>If you like Italian, try Bertolini's in the Forums Shops at Ceasar's. The food is great and you can't beat the atmosphere. <BR> <BR>The Pinot Brasserie at Venetian is very good, but pricey. <BR> <BR>Skip the Olives at Bellagio. I know several people have said they liked it but after spending $100 on dinner (and that's without drinks) we felt like we had been at a noisy upscale chain restaurant. Don't recommend at all. <BR> <BR>If you like steak, an unlikely prospect is The Steak House at Circus Circus. It's a little north of other things on the strip but is consistently rated one of LV's best steak houses. Binion's downtown is also excellent. <BR> <BR>:-)

Expensive resaurants abound here in Las Vegas, which is great for a special occasion. But why not hit the local spots for good food at reasonable prices? <BR> <BR>Binion's Horshoe downtown serves the best New York Steak for under $5.00 after 11p.m. in their coffee shop! Expect a line, but it's a wonderful "real" Las Vegas experience. <BR> <BR>Also, Try the buffet at Main Street Station downtown. This is absolutley the best buffet in town. You won't be dissapointed by the quality or variety of food, or the unique Victorian atmosphere. <BR> <BR>For a twist on Mexican food, try the Pink Taco at the Hard Rock Hotel. They use only the freshest ingredients and it's all done with lots of cilantro and garlic. <BR> <BR>My pick for best expensive restaurant - A.J.'s Steakhouse also inside the Hard Rock. 70's retro atmosphere, live piano, fantastic cuts of meat. Expect to spend $150.00 for two with a decent bottle of wine. <BR> <BR> <BR>

One of our favorite restaurants in Vegas is Lawry's. The prime rib is wonderful.It is not located in a casino, I believe it is on Howard Hughes Drive. If you ask any of the hotel concierges of it's location they should be able to assist. One more favorite is Kokomos inside of the Mirage. Lobster and prime rib ...the best. Have a great time.

RUMJUNGLE in the Mandalay Bay hotel - pricey, unique, and the food is terrific. It's a different experience, so don't expect the usual!
