Great hotels near Times Square
 

Any suggestions for good hotels near Times Square? Or at least within 10-12 blocks of TS?

Marriott Marquis, Doubletree Guest Suites, Novotel are just a few of the good hotels..

Jenn - Crowne Plaza on Broadway is right on Times Square.

The Marriott Renassaince is our favorite hotel with a wonderful Times Square location, large rooms and decent prices. Also like The Casa Blanca or The Times (if you're really trendy).

Try Priceline. Last weekend I got the Novotel for $85/night. Not luxurious, but clean and comfortable with a view right into Times Square that my 13-year-old son loved.

We have stayed at many places in NYC and absolutely love the Hotel MichaelAngleo. It's at 51st between 6th and 7th. So much is within walking distance and it's a very nice Italian style hotel. The service was out of this world. They have a website and we have seen them on Quikbook also.

I can second the Renaissance which we recently stayed at. Also Quickbook for reservations and best prices.

Really enjoyed the Millennium Hotel Broadway at 145 West 44th (1-800-622-5569). Rooms were quite chic. Got a great rate through Quikbook.

I love the Michelangelo--an easy stroll to TS, but on a relatively quiet corner.

I third the Renaissance. Great hotel. My favorite in NYC.
