The Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando is a beautiful hotel that offers not a package but a fully customizable experience. They let you choose what you enjoy whether it be a spa day, shopping, a night out, or even a night in. They will upgrade you to a suite, serve wine and chocolate covered strawberries, and really make it a unforgettable time.

I'd vote for the Portofino or the Royal Pacific, ESPECIALLY if someone from the Gaylord Palms is advertising on a travel forum.

Why are you plugging this hotel in your very first post here?

I am actually a 22 year old college student in Orlando. I went to the Gaylord with 3 friends, and had a WONDERFUL time. I do not work for Gaylord. Also, I agree with you Portofino and Royal Pacific are nice. Except I would vote Royal Pacific over Portofino, the exterior of Portofino looks fake.

When I went there a convetion of Acne cream salesmen were running rampant all night. Back and forth they went, drunk as skunks screaming "I got your zits right here!!". Then, I swore I heard gunfire at some point.

Awful, awful, awful!!!
