Great get escape house rental in maine

I am looking for a great relaxing place to stay in Maine in May for 5 nites, family of five. We relax better in a house setting near water, any ideas for bargain stay?

My family and I are going to Bar Harbor and we stay in a great house a few blocks from the harbor (you can ride a bike there or take the trolley). Acadia Nat'l Park is right there and the island is great for exploring. If you'd like to be right up on the beach in Maine, I'd suggest looking into Wells or Ogunquit...I sat next to a couple at dinner last week that raved about the area and after checking out the website I ordered their tourism guide for consideration next year. Good luck

Oops, FYI, Joe...the trolley in Bar Harbor doesn't run until late June.

Have you checked vrbo.com? There are a lot of Maine vacation rentals listed there. Here is an example:

Thanks for the imput! We are renting a car so the trolley won't be an issue. I have looked at all the rentals at VRBO.com, it is a great site and I have used it before. I just thought someone might have stayed at a really great place they could suggest.
