Ah yes...38 days and counting and your starting to think FOOD!

We liked Joe's on the Green at the Kiahuna Golf Club a lot. You sit outside on the patio overlooking the golf course with distant ocean views.

Breakfast was the one meal that we ate in most of the time. Fresh papaya with a little lime squeezed on top is like my favorite thing to eat for breakfast.

37 days until we leave and YES, I'm thinking food! I would love to eat some fresh pineapple and warm banana bread. That's my idea of a great Hawaiian bfast. Is Joes a buffet?

Some GREAT places for beakfast, or lunch and dinner, are the Oki Diner, Ma's, and the Tip Top Cafe. All 3 are in Lihue though, a few minues away.

I'm not sure if they serve breakfast or not, but we really enjoyed Poipu Beach Broiler. It's newer and clean and yummy! Big open windows overlooking gardens & tennis courts. We weren't looking to spend a lot on food, so it was perfect. We ate there 3 times. We like to eat "lunner"... (late lunch), then just snack later. We cut out free coupons for a free appetizer from "101 Things to Do" and another free magazine we got at the airport. They have 1/2 price appetizers and other deals for happy hour. We did go there for dinner as well. Awesome MahiMahi fish and chips.

whenever we go to Kauai we always make sure to go to Joe's on the Green...answering your earlier question, it is not a buffet. I personally love their macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup...yummm
