Grease NYC Tickets - help!

Hi
Does anybody know how I can get hold of the Brooks Atkinson Theater? I've looked and looked and cannot find a contact number/email. You have to buy their tickets via Ticketmaster and they have offered me seats in the rear mezzanine, which is fine - but I want three tickets and they've given me seats 110-112. Which is also fine, except that seat 111 is in another block!! I haven't bought the tickets and I don't know how to get over this, if I can't contact somebody! Have a look at the seat plan. Mezz row E seats 112-110... http://brooksatkinsontheater.com/seating_chart.php
Thanks for any assistance.

You need to call Ticketmaster and get the tickets over the phone, not on line. Speak to someone in person and they will help you.

If you haven't purchased the tickets yet, go to www.broadwaybox.com and buy them at a discount.

Thanks bugswife - that was obvious really, but I didn't think of it - LOL! I've managed to email ticketmaster though and will await their reply!

happytrails - yes, I tried that, but their offer only goes up to 22 May and I want tickets for June. Even if I test the offer and try for a different date (which I wouldn't want!), ticketmaster says it doesn't have the code in their system! The regular price isn't too bad and I'd rather not risk waiting longer. But thanks! :)

Nothing is ever simple, is it? I looked up the phone numbers and, if using ticketmaster.com, they offer me my 'local' number (ie state) - so that's no good ... then I look at ticketmaster.co.uk and, as far as I can see, you can only buy tickets for uk events on that number! I'll wait for the email reply.

The show is not selling out. Thus, there is a very good chance that the discount offer will be extended. Further, rear mezzanine seats are not in great demand. So, you should have no problem getting the tickets you want at a discount....or better seats for the same price.

I agree that it is VERY likely the offer will be extended. I would wait and get good seats at a reduced price.

I don't know if this will help, but my "Seats, NY" book lists a phone number for Group Sales (which might be the actual theater) as 212-398-8383. Can't hurt to give it a try.

The Brooks Atkinson is a Nederlander theater, so you might have a look at www.nederlander.org for additional assistance.

Are you SURE your seats are wrong? If they are in the rear <u>Mezzanine</u>, then three seats together would actually be correct at 110, 111, and 112. If the seats are in the <u>Balcony</u> section, then seats 110 and 112 are together, with seat 111 being in a different section. The seat numbering changes between Mezz and Balcony. Have another look.

Thanks guys - will ponder on whether to wait or phone!
Yes, TC - definitely the seats are separated - I even checked on broadway box's seat plans. Front row of rear mezzanine. I couldn't find a balcony?

TC Apr 22nd, 2008 09:48 AM

Some seating charts call the rear mezz the balcony.
