Grand Wailea - Pool Day Passes?
I absolutely love the Grand Wailea pools and water slides but I am too cheap to stay there again. Does anybody know if they offer day passes to the pools? I don't see anything like that on their website but it seems I have heard this mentioned before.
And the unscrupulous question... how closely do they watch for those wrist bands? |

You're joking...right? And if you're not, you needed more time on the "naughty mat" as a child.

slbrown- i found a thread on this subject on tripadvisors- just put same title in search function

We did this and, as I recall, it was pretty expensive but worth it, like $30? I think they monitor it all pretty closely.

The wristbands are definately checked every time you go down one of the slides, or take the water elevator. You can't fully enjoy the pools without a wristband.

slbrown, did you find an answer to your original question? We are staying here in November and friends of ours will be in Kaanapali, and want to spend the day with us at Gr Wailea, but I didn't know if they would be able to join us as guests or not?
Thank you for any info you came across. |
i was just there a couple weeks ago and they said they got rid of that policy (day use of pools) five years ago. and i had a family member that worked there!!
