Grand Tetons - first visit

This summer my wife and I will be visiting the Grand Tetons for the first time. We will probably be there for 5 full days. I have a couple of questions:

1) We found a condo thru Rendezvous Mountain rentals that we're interested in - has anyone used them before - do you recommend them?

2) We plan on doing some hiking everyday. What are some good hikes near Jackson or Teton Village?

3) We also like brewpubs. I know there are a couple in the area - what are your thoughts on the beer itself, the food and atmosphere.

Thanks!

You will love the Tetons!

1) We used Rendezvous last year for a condo in The Aspens on Moose-Wilson Road. We loved our condo, but keep in mind they are a management company for individual property owners, so each condo/rental home is unique, so try to find a review (maybe on TripAdvisor) for a specific unit.

2) Not knowing how far you want to hike, or how strenuous, there are several great hikes near Jackson and Teton Village. You'll find some great hikes out of the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve, Death Canyon and Taggart Lake areas. Personally, I really like the hike to Taggart Lake, the Phelps Lake Loop, as well as Marion Lake, which begins from the top of Rendezvous Mountain near Teton Village - which does require a ride up the ski tram for a fee.

Check out this website which has hikes sorted by location in the park:

Go to the southern section to find links to each of the individual hikes where you'll find details for each hike.

3) We visited two local brewpubs, one on Moose-Wilson Road - the Roadhouse. Personally, their beer didn't excite me, but that's usually a personal preference. We ate twice at Snake River Brewing. They have a great beer and menu selection, and a fun atmosphere.

If you have any interest, it is a fly fishing heaven.

I can't be of much help with your three questions, but I'll echo the comment of wave25. You will love the Tetons. It's our favorite national park. Make sure you take a camera, because it's photographer's paradise.

Five days in the Tetons? I can't thing of a better way to spend five days!
