Grand Canyon Sunrise
 
What time would we need to arrive at the Grand Canyon (south rim) to view the sunrise in mid-April?

Looks like about 6 a.m. If you go to this site, you'll find the times of sunrise and sunset.<BR>www.nps.gov/grca/grandcanyon/sunset

From your questions, looks like we'll be at the Canyon at the same time - we're going for spring break mid April as well. I'm trying to juggle hiking plans for a 10yo boy, 4 experienced hikers, and my parents (quite athletic but well in to their 70's!).

why not spend the night and be there for sunset and sunrise..it`s awesome...
