Grand Canyon South Rim, with COVID restrictions

We'll be staying at the Yavapai Lodge with our grandson in a few weeks. In looking at the Park website, I notice that a number of things are closed, notably some of the restaurants (including the Yavapai Lodge Restaurant). With a number of the inside the park restaurants closed, should we plan to go out of the park for dinner? Any recommendations?

Also we're considering renting bikes, looks fun, has anyone had experience with that? I think I'll need to reserve bikes ahead of time. (Nice and FLAT).

Thanks in advance,
Alice
