Grand Canyon South Rim and Antelope

Hi!

I want to know if it is doable.

We are leaving from Las Vegas tomorrow and we have booking at bright Angel lodge for the night. The next day we will leave for los Angeles.
I saw the pictures of the antelope canyon and found it pretty nice. Found that the drive is 3hrs from south rim and 4.5 hrs from Vegas.
How feasible is it is i drive to Antelope Canyon first from Vegas, take the tour and then drive to south rim??
Thanks in advance.

If you can leave Las Vegas early enough, it is doable. You can figure the tour will take 2-3 hours, possibly longer if you have to wait another hour for a tour that has room.

When you enter the GCNP through the east entrance, make sure you stop at least at Desert View (my favorite first canyon view), Grandview, and Lipan. Spending some time at each, it will probably take you 2-3 hours from the GCNP entrance to your lodge.
