bethmac, sorry you took what i said negatively. I wasn't trying to be rude at all. You asked for advice and I gave it adn without malice or judgement. I even said I didn't think wanting to see everything was crazy and I included myself in one who doesn't mind being in the 'tin contraption". I take it all back because I truly didn't mean to offend. Accept my apologies and ignore any advice given by me.

Enjoy your trip.

It's okay, MariaSo, you did not offend. Most folks who responded were very nice, even if sometimes a little facetious (sp?), but once Dayle posted and was so rude on a personal level, I think it tainted the way I read all the other replies. I need to get over it, it's just one post from a stranger, I guess for me vacation planning is really exciting and personal in the sense that I really try hard to plan something fabulous because we work really hard for our vacations. Thanks for the advice, I know as I read and re-read everything and let it digest the right route will come to me. I don't see how we could have a BAD time, anyway, because I love to be with my family and love to travel no matter where.

Yeah, don't let one poster get you down. You're right. You will enjoy the trip because you will be with your family. Have fun and give us a trip report when you get back.

Planning is fun for me too. Why I like giving advice, when I can on fodors. It's like being part of that trip too so a trip report will be nice if you get time when you return.

Cheers!

Hey Beth,

Sorry you felt my reply was rude, I admit it was blunt. Everyone who has been on Fodor's for a while gets zinged at some point. It's happened to me more than once.

Good luck with whatever you finally decide.

On Dayle's behalf, he's a good guy with great advise on the area...I think he & others that might have come across as on the critical side just know what you will be missing.

You have got to come back and tell us how your week went!

Thanks, utahtea. I hope the annual pass prices don't go up! Although I honestly think they're an absolute steal. I almost feel guilty, because I have no problem with my money going to support the Parks!

From what I've read, the Park Pass was staying at $50 for now.
