Do you have a link for this? On one of our river trips down the Colorado we took out at I think mile 190 or so (Lee's Ferry is mile 0) and were choppered up to a dude ranch, then flew back to Marble Canyon (near Lee's Ferry) in a small plane. The rafts continued to a pick-up at mile 280 at Pierce Ferry on the headwaters of Lake Mead.

I think they were taking people down this last 90 or so miles if anyone signed up, but it's past all the really good whitewater and after about mile 240 it's flat water as the lake has flooded this out. Still, this would be an interesting 2-3 day trip on the raft.

You might be referring to this:

Note that their boat ride is a motorized, non-white water ride outside the national park.

We did a 3 day raft trip with Arizona River Runners in June. We were flew from Vegas to Bar 10 ranch for night, then helicoptered to bottom of grand canyon, then went 90 miles on large raft. Actually spent one night in the bottom of Grand Canyon on riverbank. Food was good, and overall experience was super.

Bulldog, that's the trip I was talking about, only we did the first part from Lee's Ferry to the area on the river just below this ranch ...
