Grand Canyon

Can anyone recommend the best viewing side of the Grand Canyon? We will be coming from Sedona and then leaving for Las Vegas. We were planning on taking Highway 40 to Vegas.

thanks.

I agree the south rim if time is a factor. However, if you ever have extra time and a 4wd vehicle you should go to the north rim and drive out to Point Sublime. 18 miles one way and you end up on a pennisula with almost a 360 degree view. Its a spectacular view and you will probably not see another person there.

I also recommend the S. Rim for the best views.

If you do decide on the N. Rim, keep in mind that is is closed until Mid-May.
