Graduation trip to europe
 

Hi my daughter is graduating next year and I want to surprise her with a trip to Europe, she has always dream for goign to London, Paris, Rome - . the problem is that I have no idea how to make the trip I know I can fly to paris and travel by train to Londn and from there by train to Rome or Tuscany but can some one please help me with an Iteneray? I will love some insights we are adventurous !!! if is possible you think I could add Tuscany on a 10 days trip (counting the travel time) we want to go to the country side in tuscany if possible and it will be on July of 2010

If you only have 10 days, you need to stick to Paris & London. Actually, just Paris would work even better.

I agree. Stick with Paris and London, or couple of cities in Italy (Rome and Florence or Rome and Venice).

Do open jaw - fly into London and out of Paris, for ex. It usually costs about the same as flying into/out of the same city. Take the Eurostar between the two - just as quick as flying and much less hassle (and certainly more fun). Even IF you're determined to include Rome, you don't want to train between London and Rome, not with only 10 days. Plenty of budget airlines between the two.

Post on Europe board. 10 days is enought for 2 brief stops. More than that and you will be touring mainly a variety of train stations.

I would fly to London, train to Paris, train or fly to Rome, and fly home from Rome.

Check a map. The order your proposed in your post doesn't make sense just in terms of direction. I think in 10 days you can do these 3 cities, if that is a priority. Though obviously doing just 2 would be you a more leisurely pace.
