graduation dinner in LA
need ideas to host my sis's USC graduation dinner for 10 people. preferably under $30/person. please help!
|
>-) Go Bruins! ((H))
Any particular cuisine? |
ok, my family ranges from super "foodie" to extremely picky adult eaters. so I'd go with californian/mediteranean, italian, american, but I'm told no Asian (although fusion maybe OK). My dad will be paying and he though Chinois was the worst restaurant he's ever been too (didn't help that we had to wait extra long b/c our table reservation was given away to wolfgang puck HIMSELF

$30 per person is not very much for a dinner, especially if it's including drink, tax and tip.
How about Carousel in Glendale (mediterannean)? www.carouselrestaurant.com |
What part of LA? Close to campus?
|
If you are looking for someplace close to campus, I'd recommend eating in the Downtown area. A few suggestions: McCormick & Schmick's (633 West Fifth Street, 4th Floor) specializes in seafood. Meat and potato-type places include Arnie Morton's Steakhouse located at 735 South Figueroa Street. Or check out Engine Co. No. 28 (644 South Figueroa Street).

I was thinking under $30 for entree (max.) not total per person
