chepar--is Venus not a "mixed gender" club anymore?

Yeah, my nephew was doing Garden of Saigon before he was 21. Another place is Pipeline Cafe, which has Foreplay Fridaze every Friday night for 18 and over.

galestorm - Do you remember the Crow's Nest and Cock's Roost in Waikiki? They were big in the 70s.

4-day bus passes available at any ABC Store for $20.

Brochures to pick up at airport baggage area (or any news stand in Waikiki):

This Week Oahu www.thisweek.com
Oahu Gold www.spotlighthawaii.com
101 Things Oahu www.101thingstodo.com
MAPS 32 detailed maps (even though they won't be driving, the maps are excellent detailed maps of Oahu).

Melissa-

You know, it's been so long since I've gone to any clubs, the only ones I recognized by name from that list I pulled is World Cafe and Venus. And all I recall of Venus was that it used to have a male revue "Chippendale's" type show on certain nights.

I was surprised that there appeared to be (relatively) so many clubs open to the under 21 crowd, to be honest. Way back when - I only recall there were a couple of clubs that were open to that age group. Being only 19 or 20 myself, I had to resort to using a friend's ID to get into the Wave or Pink Cadillac. :)
