The nps.gov website is not updated for 2010 and the trust website has some conflicting info. I just want to know what days the ferry runs in Sept and if the park rangers are still doing tours. Can't find any info!

Sorry, didn't notice that you mentioned "conflicting" info on the Trust site.

As far as I can see the ferry runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 10.

Can't get the nps info, either, but I noticed they posted a phone number.

The conflicting info is that the ferry runs weekends and the parks dept does tours on wed. Do I swim?!

Okay, I found out -- for future reference:

The Fri - Sun schedule is as printed.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays between (this year) June 9 and August 26, the Park Service ran two ferries, one at 10 am and one at 1 pm. Tickets are distributed on a first come first served basis, to a maximum of 60, beginning one hour before the tour. The tour lasts about 1 1/2 hours. You must stay with the tour on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
