Good Walking Guide to Central Park?

We will be in NYC next month and would like to walk around the park(or parts of it). I definitely want to visit Bethesda Fountain and the Eleanor Roosevelt statue on Riverside Drive. Does anyone know of a good walking guide(printed) to the Park?

I strongly recommend a guidebook published by Barnes & Noble. Its full title is "Barnes & Noble Complete Illustrated Map and Guidebook to Central Park."
It truly is an invaluable aid in any Central Park venture. I'm sure you can purchase it through B&N website, or wait until to get to NYC and stop one of its stores there. I bought my copy at the Fifth Avenue @ 48thth (I think that's the cross street) in the Rockefeller Center area.

For a lot of info, including current activities, I would consult the web site of the Central Park Convservancy:

Just want to be clear: the Eleanor Roosevelt statue is not in Central Park. It is in Riverside Park at W. 72nd St.

Thanks for the info on the Eleanor Roosevelt statue.

Also, be aware that there are large maps posted in the Park, for example at Belvedere Castle and next to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They can help if you lose your bearings (and don't hesitate to ask someone who looks knowledgeable).
