Good Travel Music...

Hey,

Had to throw out a quick recommendation for those of you travellers who enjoy music on your journeys. I ran across a musician by the name of Jonathan Elias at my internship w/ universal and took a quick listen to his cd "American River." I must say it's a high quality piece of work, it came in handy on my recent road trip. It's good for long drives or flights. Just passing that info on to you guys. Check out some samples of his work to see if this is what you could listen to on a trip..

I love any music that you can buy at a turnpike gas station. But only for the duration of the trip.

peeky, I just bought The Shark Tale soundtrack and it is great R&B/Rap.

Missy Elliott, Christina Agurilla, Ludicrus, India.Arie, Will Smith, Ziggy Marley, etc.

It's cool.

Cut and paste the songs in your web brower or media player. If hat doesn't work, I'm pretty sure you can find some samples here:

It's good stuff.

Chordcollector, I am suspicious of you and beeminor. Neither of you had ever posted before, and both of you are promoting Jonathan Elias. Hmmmm....

Anyways, my vote is for Jack Johnson's Brushfire Fairytales, especially when I am in Hawaii. Ahhhh.

Funny how this is a deja-vu thread for the same mediocre musician.

gyppielou Oct 20th, 2004 08:51 PM

pray tell more triplesec, since this post seems new to me........

gyppielou : It's titled fear of flying.

This is a call for alternate titles to the other thread.

How about :

Fear of Selling.
OR
Selling Without a Backbone.
OR
Digitized Fertilizer Online.

How about...

"I'm not honest enough to say I'm advertising for this guy and am trying to pull a fast one on the dumb Fodor's readers"

I listen to Diana Krall, soothing jazz.
