Just be aware that Bistecca Fiorentina is not your typical New York steak house. If you're thinking of a NY Strip steak or juicy filet mignon, it's not the place for you.

Incidentally we did Peter Luger's a couple years ago when we left Manhattan on our way to JFK for an 8 PM flight to Madrid. Since it is easy to get a 3 PM reservation at Peter Luger's, that worked out fine -- taking a taxi there, letting the restaurant store our luggage while we ate, then another taxi to the airport. And I applied for their credit card and received it within a couple weeks, so I didn't have to worry about cash.

And Peter Lugers has its own customer parking lot (apparently a rarity for a restaurant in NY) as I discovered 2 days ago from walking past it.
