Good Shows?

Four friends are going to Las Vegas in August for some R & R and we want to know what the best shows are. One in our group is a HUGE "Rat Pack" fan. Are there any shows that feature "the Pack?"

Duh...aren't they all dead?

Harry Jun 16th, 2000 09:12 PM

Not only are they dead, the hotels they used to entertain in have almost uniformly been imploded and replaced.
For general entertainment, Danny Gans has been the top rated performer in LV for several years now. For sheer entertainment value, the Cirque du Soleil shows Mystere and O have been the best for the past few years.

I have seen most of the shows in Las Vegas though I am not a big fan of the shows, Iy depends what type of show appeals to you.

My favorite show is Jubilee at Ballys.

"The Rat Pack is Back" is an ongoing show at the Sahara. I think you can get info at www.saharahotelandcasino.com. Otherwise, try www.lasvegas24hours.com.

Jubilee is what is considered to be a Las Vegas spectacular along the lines of the Follies. Dancing with elegant costumes etc. Some of the women are topless which may not be suitable for everybody though there is no sexual connotation to the show. It also has one of the best Magic/Illusionist show in the business.
