Good Restaurants in Moab and Santa Fe?
Also lunch spots between Albuquerque Airport and Moab, Moab and Mesa Verde, and Mesa Verde and Santa Fe?
We leave this weekend! Looking forward to your suggestions. FD |

Thanks -- looks very good. Do you recommend reservations?
I suppose I should have added to my OP that we're looking for local style food. Doesn't need to be fancy, though that can be nice. Thanks. FD |

We love the Paper Dosa in Santa Fe.

Yes, I suggest reservations for Pasqual's. It's pretty small.
Great minds, sf! |
The Shed in Santa Fe used to be good. I have no current knowledge, however.

DW and I arrived in Moab right at noon in early November. We decided on the Moab Diner. We had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table to open and be cleared. The fare was typical diner food but was better than 2 of the other places that we ate in town. The pasta place was the worst meal that we had in Moab.

In three trips to Moab the only repeat restaurant we've gone to is the Desert Bistro. We will go again next time as well.

We liked The Broken Oar in Moab.

We liked Arches Thai in Moab. |

Just a follow-up, as we returned last night.
I was able to eat at The Broken Oar in Moab -- which was quite good (basic pub, mostly). Note beer and wine only. We had dinner at Miguel's Baja Grill another night. Very good Mexican food. Great margaritas. Moab restaurants can be mobbed -- try to make reservations. As they are in Santa Fe. In fact, of the restaurants recommended, we were only able to get into The Shed, which we enjoyed, and that only because my wife stopped by and gave them our name. This puts you on a waiting list if they have no available reservations. You end up waiting about a half-hour, as opposed to hours. Cafe Pasquale had no openings for the three nights we were in town. It seems there was a film festival going on and they were completely booked. In between these cities pickings are slim. Choose someplace that doesn't look too scary! Thanks for help, folks. |
We had a great meal and margs at Miguel's Baja Grill 14 years ago. Glad to know it's still good.
