Good 'reasonable' restaurants in Boston.

Hi my wife and I will be in Boston this weekend. Are there any cheap to not too expensive restaurants in the downtown area? of course it can't be a dive. Fast food is out of the question. Thanks!!

Try the North End -- it's wonderful to walk around--lot's of great Italian restaurants where you can just get a pizza if you want. Try a different place for some of the best desserts, too. It's a great area -- walk to it from Fanueil Hall area. I love Boston, have fun.

The previous poster is right on the money with the North End suggestions. You might want to check out www.boston.com in the dining section for suggestions and prices.

Franklin Cafe on shawmut in the South End is a favorite of ours. They serve until past midnight. It is a favorite for many of the finer restaruants staff to winddown after work.

Try Bacco's in the north end. Great traditional Italian food. Reasonable prices.

If you like pizza, definitely go to Regina's in the North End.
