good jazz clubs

If anyone knows of great places to catch some good music I'd appreciate hearing from you - jazz/blues especially. Thanks!

Sorry folks, the jazz clubs I'm interested in hearing about now would be in Washington D.C.

Try Tacoma Station. Last time I was in D.C. area it was great.

the best source is a website developed by a local musician, www.dcjazz.com. this is an excellent site, and should be able to give you anything you need. my personal favorite has always been one step down, on pennsylvania ave. blues alley is a nice club, but expensive -- a big spot for tourists. mr henry's and twins are more locally-oriented places that still get quality music. have fun, and check out that site...glenn

Most renowned jazz club here is Blues Alley, in Georgetown. Great acts, but not cheap.

Check the listings on washingtonpost.com...
