GOOD HOTELS in PITTSBURGH, NYC, L.I., BANGOR?
 

Hi! I will soon be traveling frequently to Pittsburgh, PA; Bangor, Maine; New York City, and Long Island. Does anyone have good hotel suggestions? Fortunately, I'm not on a tight budget. Refrigerator and microwave (or at least a coffeemaker) in the room would be preferred, but a beautiful and friendly atmosphere would make up for the lack thereof! Thanks for your help! (In NYC, midtown or upper west side would be preferred.)

<BR>Pittsburgh, PA hotel recommendation: Westin William Penn. It is very lovely and within walking distance to many things. My room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave nor do I know if they are available.

I don't know if it's still open, but the <BR>Phoenix Inn is right in the middle of downtown <BR>Bangor. I haven't actually stayed there, but <BR>heard that it was nice. It's not a chain hotel, <BR>so that makes it more attractive to me. There is a little town square and pub right outside the front door along with the bookstore Steven King frequents. <BR> <BR>Bo
