garyt22, I read your comment about Venice Beach on that other thread, and my first thought was in ALL of America?! I'll give you the left coast LOL.
Agree with Adu: pretty much anywhere in Manhattan, but if I had to give one single location, Central Park (in good weather). Or almost any part of the MTA!!

A small town during their 4th of July celebration.
A mall anywhere in the US on Christmas Eve = perfect for people watching desperate men rushing around trying to find presents to buy.

Definitely the Village - esp the night of the Halloween parade. But really any sidewalk cafe. Does anyone else remember rollerina? Of the guys dressed in a loincloth that used to perch on fire hydrants like a bird.
