Good Eats in Everett

Yes, Everett. I'll be staying in Everett for an extended time and am looking for tips on some better restaurants in Everett (without going to Seattle, of course).

There are a few, but not too many. Lombardis (for Italian), Anthony's (both the Homeport and the Woodfired Grill), and Emory's on Silver Lake are the nicest places. Lombardis and Anthony's are both right next to the Naval Base off of Marine View Drive. The good thing about Everett is that it is close to many other little towns. Check out Snohomish, Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Edmonds and Mukilteo for other places. There are some great little gems in those towns.

Anthony's as the post above said, very good food, good service and a nice view. A chain, but a good local chain. A lot of the Anthony's have a Early time four course meal for $18.00 that is excellent. Runs from 4:30 to 6:00 I believe.

If you are able to venture to the other towns I mentioned, here are some good spots.

In Edmonds, there is Arnie's (has a nice view of the water) and Girardi's Osteria.

In Snohomish try Mardini's, Sebastians, and for a bit lower end, but still good for pizza/pub food go to Fred's. All three of these are on the main drag. The Snohomish Pie Company is good for pies and cookies.

The Maltby Cafe is great for breakfast, and that is sort of near Snohomish/Bothell.

Lynnwood has pretty much any chain you could imagine. The newly remodeled Alderwood Mall is a draw and there are lots of chains surrounding it.

Oops, I forgot another Snohomish place...Piccadilly Circus for afternoon tea. They have a restaurant as well, but I have not eaten a meal there so can't comment on that part.

Pave Bakery on Colby is one of the best bakeries in the Puget Sound Region.

Sisters (on Grand nr. Hewitt) is a fine somewhat-counter-cultural place for great breakfasts and lunches M-F, with fun art on the walls.
