Many years ago I saw John Gotti dining with his lawyer Bruce Cutler at Lanza's on 1st Avenue. I haven't been there in awhile, but the food was good then. I think you may like the old restaurant ambience it has.

Umberto's isn't anything special, but you do get to see where Crazy Joe Gallo got whacked.

I can't help but wonder what kind of weird groupie would go out of his way to eat at a place formerly frequented by hoodlums.<BR><BR>To top it off, a weird groupie who can't spell "Italian."
