My DH went to MB every year w/ 24 of his golf buddies around the 1st week in Feb. They almost always had decent golf weather and got great rates as well. It is not usually "Hot" but if u can live w/ 50's (coming from Toronto 50's shouldn't bother u) then MB should be a consideration. U can get some great rates on hotels and/or golf packages as well. Restaurants are generally cheaper than in season so good reasonable dining also. Go to Trip Advisor and the Myrtle Beach forums and you will get some ideas there. Good luck. There are lots of Canadians that drive to MB also. They spend the winter months there. My brother owns a condo in MB and he has Canadians renting it every year for 3 mos.

I live in Charlotte. You could come here for an urban golf experience at the Ballantyne.
You can go to Southern Pines/Pinehurst for a golf experience,.
You can go to the Myrtle Beach area.
Whoever said Biloxi wants you to drive a whole lot more, but whatever floats your boat.
In the MB area there are 110 golf courses. Just an FYI. And discounts.

I would love to come to Charlotte or MB or Orlando. But it seems that Biloxi is the man's greatest wish and since we went to NYC last month for me, who am I to argue. I expect we'll get to MB eventually though.

Well, just to put a finer point on it, "MB area" would be quite nicer than just MB. Take a look at the website for Litchfield Golf and Beach Resort. Beautiful grounds and across the street from at least 2 golf courses!! You can sit on the beach--and yes, Vin, we have sat on the beach if February.
