Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Question

I'm coming to San Francisco this weekend (can't wait!), and I have a question about the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Company. I read that you can bring your own fortunes and they'll put them in the cookies for you. (50 cookies for $6, what a deal!) My sister turns 21 next week and is having a party, so I thought it would be cute to have some custom made fortune cookies at the party.

Has anyone ever done this? I'm wondering how long it would take to make them...is there a wait, or would it be done right away? Any idea what size the "fortune" needs to be? I might have to go get Chinese take out in order to get a fortune cookie!

(If anyone has any cute fortunes to put in the cookies for a birthday party with a bunch of college kids, feel free to share!)

Do not meddle with the affairs of a dragon, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I don't know if it was that company or another one, but we wandered into one randomly, and they had blank slips there to write whatever you wanted. The sizes were not terribly uniform, but all roughly the size you'd expect to find in a standard fortune cookie.

I've never gotten over my depression from opening a fortune cookie and finding a blank piece of paper in there.

My favorite: Beware of ambition. It leads to an awful lot of work.
