Anyone use the Gold card for discounts?? <BR>Good, bad????

Jef I assume that you mean the AOA gold card on Maui.If that's the case yes the card can easily pay for itself and save you money.I used the card for the Triolgy trip to Lanai and the Old Lahaina Luau (4 adults)and saved about $80 after the $20 for the card's cost and there are many other activities discounted as well.

What is the gold card?

Hi Melisa,the AOA(Activity Owners Association)Gold Card is available for use on Maui only.It is a discount card good for discounts on most activities on Maui and discounts range from 10 to 25%,while in Maui if you call their office you may get even larger discounts as they sometimes have daily specials.The discounts are on mostly everything from Helicopter rides to bicycle tours anf Luaus.The card must be obtained BEFORE one arrives on Maui,the cost is $20 and will cover discounts on up to 4 people.If you are interested in a card the toll free number is 800-398-9698.

We will go to Oahu and Maui in April. I heard people talking about Entertainment discount card and Gold card. Which one is better? <BR> <BR>Thanks!

Sylvia as I understand it the two cards are like apples vs oranges.The Gold Card is only good on Maui and is for, basicly,activities only. The entertainment card is good thruout Hawaii and is for hotels,resturants etc..

Are you sure its only good on Maui? <BR>I found it on the internet and it looked like it was good all over. Just want to be sure!
