TrvlMaven- That's a great idea. I will be in the city for the weekend, staying near Cafe Gratitude and all the great other 9th Ave/ Irving street places. We will try your suggestion. Thanks! :-)

I am putting in my 2 cents for The Slanted Door (Vietnamese) in the Ferry Bldg, both for the food and the views. Reservations are a must.
