Going to Las Vegas in March

I am planning a trip to Vegas at the end of March. I haven't been to Vegas sine 2001. I arrived on Sept. 10th, and we all know what happened on the 11th....and the city practically shut down. I keep meaning to go but this is the first real chance I have had.

We aren't big gamblers so don't plan on spending a lot of time doing that. Any other recommendations on 'must-do' things for Vegas?

My husband isn't real interested in a show but maybe with some input from you I can persuade him to want to go to one.

I found vegas.com, smartervegas.com, and vegas-promotions.com for sites to find deals. Any other info/advice would be great!

Hi Travelin,

Get ready to walk walk walk....it's the best way to see the city. Make sure to check out the Bellagion fountain shows, maybe take a gondola ride in the Venetian, try one of the Vegas buffets (I DON'T recommend the Paris but DEFINITELY recommend the Bellagio).

If you like shopping check out the Las Vegas Premium outlets which are only about 15 mins from the strip.

We enjoyed watching the Lions at the Lion habitat in the MGM (free).

As you go in and out of every hotel you will see something that interests you...Vegas has something for everyone.

Enjoy your trip :)

The daytime can be warm enough to lay by the pools, but beware of the Winds!

There are scads of threads here on Vegas -- have you done a search? Here are some:

Also would recommend doing a guidebook look-through.

So you are not interested in gambling or shows...Why are you going to Vegas?

OK, snarky comment out of the way, how about:

Grand Canyon.
Use Vegas as a base and visit Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks.
How about a strip club for couples?
Go to the top of Stratosphere and see the sights or try the rides.
We enjoy the Freemont Street experience.
Go to a show anyway, it's worth it!
Dueling piano bars, at several locations including NYNY, Harrahs.
