I am planning to go to Vegas next summer, can go anytime between June 10 and August 10.

I am assuming a check-in during the week is the cheapest, but what is the best arrival day? Sunday, Monday etc. I want to spend three nights. What month and day of the week would be best for the cheapest rate?

We may get comp'd from Harrahs through our local Harrah's casino, but even if that happens I hope to upgrade at Harrah's. For free or cheaply as possible to a suite.

Beware that Vegas in the summer is like the face of the sun. My sister got married there in July 2002, and it was 113 on the day of her wedding!

Arrive on a Monday and leave on a Thursday. Table limits will be lower and there will be less crowds.

Oh my, I thought you were looking for a cheap date. I'm afraid I've never seen any "dates" in Vegas that looked cheap.

I doubt there is much difference between a Sun or Mon arrival. Just stay away from 7/4 weekend.

Yes it's hot, but so what! Have a blast.

We have been in the summer before, its that dry Vegas heat.... I love it.

Check the Las Vegas CVB event calendar and go when there isn't a citywide convention. Also, skip the week of the 4th of July.

Airfares are sometimes higher on Sun, so I'd try Mon Tues Wed with return flight on Thursday, or Tues Wed Thurs with return flight on Friday...whichever one works out cheaper from your departure city.

Early June will be best weather-wise and room-rate-wise (before all the schools are out for summer.) Late August also has low room rates, with school starting up in many places etc.
