Going on a shopping trip to Miami...
 

Could I please get some hotel suggestions... I will be shopping at Aventura, Sawgrass, and Dadeland. I know all those malls are all over the place. I pretty much just want something safe and clean.

A few years ago I stayed at the Marriott at Dadeland Center in order to have easy access to Dadeland Mall and surrounding areas. They even have shuttle service to the mall.

If you are looking for something less expensive, I can recommend Amerisuites Airport West which is very close to Palmetto Expressway for easy access to other areas.

Who bought out Budgetel? I stayed at a brand new one in 1997 that was bought out. It was very reasonable and was very close to Sawgrass just off the interstate. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that but maybe you can research for whomever bought out Budgetel.
